"We had a wonderful welcome from the lady on reception, who later was able to assist us when I forgot to pack toothpaste. We only ate in the bar on one evening & the food was not hiked up unlike most hotels. There was 2 weddings on the 2 nights we were there but didn’t hear a thing from them. The room was of a good size & clean although there are areas for maintenance. One being the entrance into the shower had a painted edging which was worn (needed to be plastic), also shower head wouldn’t stay in place as the clip that the head sit in was broken, a bit of a pain but no biggy. We decided that, as we were only here for 2 nights, we didn’t need our room servicing. However, hanging on our door was a bag with new towels & extra tea & coffee. The towels were a little on the grey side though! I just folded them back up & put them back in the bag. All in all, a great stay & would return in the future"

"Room and amenities were ok but rooms were too close to a busy main road! Window needed to be kept open because hot in the room - so noisy! It didn’t help that the Bin lorry visited about 9.30 pm ish and bins were being dragged to be emptied and in the morning-7am ish to be put back in place !!!"

"Nice hotel.. i was a bit baffled when i didnt get any shampoo or body wash and the shower was small. On a brighter note.. the food was amazing!!"

"So wonderfully quiet! Beautiful historic farm barns conversion. Owners provided good communication and were on hand if we needed anything. The double bed was absolutely superb, comfortable and very large. I couldn't work out the configuration upstairs from the photos, but there are 2 bedrooms and one family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Would happily stay there again. We were 2 adults with our 2 grown up daughters . We also had 2 other members of our family join us for lunch at the outdoor table and chairs. Free parking in the pretty courtyard. Thank you!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was clean and tidy as to be expected albeit looking a little tired, we arrived late but the hotel staff were very accommodating as we contacted them to let them know our eta. Our room window was facing the motorway so it was a little noisy with the traffic but we didnt find this off putting and slept soundly both nights. The shower had very good water pressure and was very hot too. The hotel had supplied a tall oscillating fan in the room aswell, must be due to the recent toasty weather but that was a nice gesture and greatly recieved. Plenty of parking at this hotel aswell which is good, im guessing its included in the room rate as we only needed to provide our vehicle registration at reception. The continental breakfast we opted for at the bar in the morning went down well, there's plenty to choose from. For the money, I would recommend this hotel and we would stay here again for sure."
