"I had an excellent stay. I was greeted warmly for check in. I then ate dinner at the restaurant which was good. The server was kind and attentive. The hotel/room is antiquated (in a good way), but very clean. The bathroom has a remodeled shower and toilet. It has character, unlike a sterile hotel room elsewhere. The bed was actually incredibly comfortable. Sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast is simple, but homey. And I appreciate that. Definitely seems like a hidden gem in the area. "

"Cabin was lovely! It was just far enough out to be private but had plenty of things to do around the area. The fire pit was great and we used that to roast marshmallows. Would recommend "

"We stayed for a few days in December at the Stone House between the streams. It was a short trip with my dad who Is 92. The house was really cute and very comfortable. They had holiday decorations around including a little Christmas tree which made it feel really homey. The property is really nice and peaceful. I struggled a little with the lock until I got the hang of it. The only other thing to note is there is no kitchen sink. We had brought stuff for breakfast and snacks. There is a little tub you can use to clean in the bathroom. Honestly we really enjoyed our stay there. We had made arrangements to have my sister come and spend time at the house. It made for a lot of quality time spent together. "

"We rented the farmhouse as a base for visiting family back home over Christmas week, and it was like living in a Hallmark Christmas movie house. Absolutely beautiful, incredibly private, tastefully decorated for Christmas, and stocked with anything you could ever possibly need (and more!). One thing that made the week a success for our 3-generation group was the layout: my elderly parents got the master bedroom/bath, my husband & I and teenage kids took the other "half" of the upstairs. Between this feature and the two separate living spaces on opposite sides of the first floor, this was absolutely ideal for grandparents who go to bed at 8 vs the college kids staying up til 2 :). Only wish we could've enjoyed the outdoors more- this would be a lovely summer rental too. Then again, I enjoyed hiding out from the snow and ice in the library and could've spent a week just enjoying all the books. Just wonderful."
