"Amazing place to stay - modern, clean, excellent location in the city center yet calm place to relax. There is bar downstairs but no significant noice even on Friday night, just people talking. We could sleep comfortably with the window open. Also check in experience was very good and welcoming."

"Great location easy check in. Rooms anre a little dated but Every thing you need is there Only thing that we noticed was the overpowering air freshener which was in communal area as well as in the room but noticed the walk in wardrobe had damp on the ceiling so I’m guessing it was to maybe mask the smell "

"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again. "Wonderful reception with a warm welcome. Staff were very helpful with a great command of English, which we greatly appreciated. The Studio was stunning, with views to die for. Spent many an hour soaking up the vista from the spacious balcony. Head down the stairs next to the pool and you are in the heart of the old town in a matter of 10 minutes. "We stayed with our 2 children for 2 nights in these apartments and they were great. Very modern and spotlessly clean. The apartment was a bit small for more than a couple of nights but was fine for the duration we were there. Unfortunately we had to report a maintenance issue but it was sorted very quickly while we went for dinner. The automated check in was a bit clunky - but we got there in the end! Great place to say while in Nerja and would stay again. "

"What a wonderful building! We were in the “suite” and it was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice to suit all tastes and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. We took their advice on an excellent place to have dinner and it didn’t disappoint "

Very comfortable appartment in a super location

"The appartment was very well presented and is just as it appears in the online listing. It is well kitted out with good quality fixtures and fittings. The supermarkets are very closeby as are the restaurants. There is a good free car park just across the road which is very handy if you have a hire car."

"The location is stunning, overlooking Cómpeta and Canilas, the views are extraordinary. The house is really well equipped, comfortable beds (or at least the one we slept in was) and good WiFi. The area is simply stunning and if,like us, hiking is something you enjoy, there can be few better places in EuropeGood communication from the outset - no complaints at all."

Casa La Hoya, A Charming Andalusian Villa with a relaxing Boho Style

Perfect peace in a modern mountain villa

"We loved our stay here. The property itself was spotless, fresh and modern but also had lots of homely amenities should we need them. On arrival Jenny and the team were so lovely and welcoming. And Carl quickly came to our rescue when we locked ourselves out one day. It's a very peaceful spot and has a beautiful view through the hills down to the sea. The weather was sunny every day and we'd usually head out in the morning and come back and sit and play in the pool with our two year old for the afternoon. The pool was a bit deep for her but she still got to swim with us and splash around. There's lots of seating by the pool and whilst it gets the sun almost all day there's always a spot of shade if you need it with a little one. There's not tons to do in the immediate area with a young child, we had to drive down to the coast to find more activities, this was a generally easy 30 min drive. A truly gorgeous spot though and a lovely property, the rest and relaxation that we really needed. I wish I could wake up here every day and just sit with a coffee and watch the sun rise in the mountains!"

Villa with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and big private swimming pool

Beautiful house with stunning views

"A really beautiful house with everything you need. As a family of four, the house was very spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchen had all the appliances you could need. The outside area had two dining tables, sun loungers, swing chair and hammock along with a lovely warm pool. The view was stunning and the area quiet and relaxing. If you are a larger group and spending days around the pool, extra sunloungers would be helpful. Competa was a pretty town with some lovely restaurants. The journey to Competa is mountainous but this is nothing compared to the road down to the property - only wide enough for one car, very steep, challenging road with sheer drops to the side - need to be a confident driver! We walked into town in the evenings and it took around 15 mins to walk up the steep road to the main road and then another 10 minutes into the edge of the town on a fairly flat road. Restaurants were beyond that, uphill again! The Vrbo "Explore The Area" heading implied a 6 minute walk to the centre, this isn't the case! Owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Overall, a lovely relaxing holiday."
