"The courtyard was so beautiful. The history of the building added to the intrigue and charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Safety was a high priority with a fare to buzz in guests. The breakfast was very nice and again the cavern environment told a story that added to the experience. It’s a gem in Quito. "

The windows didn’t shut and it was cold overnight and there was the noise of a pipe banging constantly all night long. We paid for 2 nights but it was so awful we left after one. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This may be the first negative review I’ve ever left. I don’t want anyone else to not be warned. "
