Ocean rock has a beautiful view and it is very secluded and quiet if that is what you’re looking for. It’s a a bit out of Patong area and not walkable but worth it for the views. We were not disappointed, the staff is very helpful and friendly.

We picked Ocean Rock Kalim for a week stay in Phuket mainly through the reviews and the information provided on its website. Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased. The views are incredible, and the apartments are spacious, clean, and well appointed. The staff is polite and responsive. We would like to acknowledge Guy, the resort manager, for his assistance during our stay. He arranged tours for us and was always available to answer our questions about Phuket. He even made sure that our early morning checkout went smoothly, and helped us with our luggage. Wanna from the front desk was also kind and helpful. In short, we highly recommend Ocean Rock Kalim if you are looking for quiet, high-end accommodations in Phuket, away from the noise and hustle of Patong. Its location however requires taxi service to and from town. Both Grab and Bolt are readily available for a nominal fare. We will definitely return to Ocean Rock Kalim if our future travels take us back to Phuket.

I had an excellent experience at Ocean Rock Kalim. Especially, the Manager, Jung and Receptionist, Waan, were extremely helpful. This is a special property. First the view is exquisite. I had the panorama view that oversees all of Patong and watched the sunset and twinkling city lights from my patio. It is located away from the hustle and bustle of Patong, yet close enough for a 300 THB Grab taxi ride to go to the beach, shopping, restaurants, massage, Thai boxing arena, and yesterday the night life on Bangla Street. I prefer this type of out of the city experience. I can easily use Grab food service and order any Thai or international food I want delivered to me, via credit card, so I don’t even need cash baht. I ate Lebanese, Afghan, and McDonalds food. There’s no pollution up here, versus being in Patong and all the car exhaust and trash from the streets. The room decoration is contemporary and gives a refreshing atmosphere with a relaxing mood. They also give you a bluetooth boombox, and I enjoyed chill loft and Bowkylion while I lounged. The hotel architecture is beautiful. I felt like I was staying at a condo/apartment more than a hotel room. I had visitors who easily took grab taxi to the property. I will definitely come here again, when I’m in Phuket.

Excellent and tidy hotel with a wonderful view and location on the mountain, but there is a negative point, which is that the road leading to it is not fully lit and there is no breakfast. In general, the hotel is one of the best hotels and the staff are very cooperative, especially the hotel manager, Gay. Thank you for hosting us.

Guy really made my stay enjoyable. He went above and beyond my expectations. The property location is perfect. Its close to the main road but far enough as not to hear the traffic. My room as well as the rest of the property was really nice. Room had a large patio with a view of Patong beach. Sunrise and Sunset views were breath taking!!!! Definitely return to Ocean Rock!

The hotel is located on highest ground, 3 mins from main road and around 5-7 mins to Patong. Very much suitable for people who seek a getaway from the traffic , also close to food and grocery shops. Room is stylish, modern, spacious, well equipped, teddy and clean. With an amazing view. The manager Gee was very helpful.

It was a very satisfying trip with friendly service. All my friends who went with me were happy, and they lent me cell phones for free, so I was able to order food and call a taxi. I like it so much that I want to go again next time. The owner and staff were all so kind. 사장님께서 너무친절하셨고 또 가고싶은곳! 친절한 서비스로 너무나도 만족한 여행이었습니다. 같이간 친구들 모두 즐거워했고 휴대폰도 무료로 빌려주셔서 음식도 주문해먹고 택시도 불러서 다닐수 있었습니다. 너무 좋아서 다음에 또 가고싶어요! 강추강추!!
