"It is a beautiful home right on the coast. We woke up to the sounds of birds and the waves crashing on the rocks. During the day we saw macaws and spider monkeys in the trees in front of the house. We had Rafa cook for us and his meals were a highlight of our vacation, however the kitchen has a modern stove and refrigerator so you could easily buy groceries in puerta jiminez and cook for yourself. There are also fans over the bed and solar powered electicity so we didn't get too hot at night. We are so thankful that we were able to experience the oso peninsula from this beautiful retreat. We loved fishing and surfing and hiking waterfalls, but coming back to this amazingly peaceful home at the end of the day to another creative, healthy meal cooked by Rafa was perfect."

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom set up was one of the nicest I’ve seen in Costa Rica. JD is an animal lover and did his best to make us and Ziggy feel at home. Looking forward to another stay"

"This was a hilton resort hotel, not what I had thought. Too far from town to walk so mainly ate at pool bar as cheaper. Staff there, especially Johan were great."
