Spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom holiday home With Private shared Pool And Terrace FREE WIFI

The house is peacefully positioned away from main roads yet only 5 minutes drive from the Sandy Lane Hotel and Golf Course ,Lime Grove Life Style with Designer shops , restaurants , Cinema and Casino

Dairy Meadows is a desirable residential neighbourhood situated between Holder's Hill and Sandy Lane just minutes drive from the gorgeous beaches of the West Coast as well as its many amenities such as Banks, Shopping, Restaurants and the 24 hour Sandy Crest Medical Centre

The main living area is open plan with seating areas and satellite LED TV , and further dining area with access to large kitchen

Two double french doors open onto the terrace where you have access to the 20 meter pool ,the garden and pool can be lit up at night

There is a terrace, equipped with BBQ, dining table and chairs to seat 6.

Vaulted Ceilings give the house an airy feel . The three double bedrooms are large and airy, with two bedrooms sharing a Jack and Jill shower room with his and her sinks in both bathrooms

Separate laundry room washing machine and tumble dryer

Downstairs cloakroom

Bedrooms: 1 Queen bed with en-suite bathroom and shower with walk in closet , a further 2 bedrooms with x 2 single beds (can be put together) with walk in closets sharing Jack and Jill shower room

Large open plan well equipped kitchen with American fridge freezer , cooker , dishwasher and microwave

Rental car helpful for island touring and shopping although local taxis are available which can be arranaged for you

Children welcome although the pool is not fenced or alarmed

No smoking in the house but allowable in the garden

Entry to the house is through electric gates with parking inside the gates on the drive.

The property was initially disappointing, as we found the two smaller bedrooms both had doors into a shared bathroom. Parking was awkward as next door had its car always parked outside its double garage, making access harder. The garage was empty, despite us being told he had another car in there, which he didnt as we saw when it was open, so he could have parked the car in there each day. The kitche cupboards were 'smelly', indicating some damp, for which I reported. They were old and damaged and need replacing. The sunbeds were all rusty and again I reported and 3 of the 4 were replaced, which left one person without one! The single beds in the twin room were clearly for kids and didnt offer much width for an average adult ! We thought the overhanging trees on the right of the pool would be an issue allowing sunlight through, however after 9am or so, the sun rose above, so wasnt really an issue.

Schöne Doppelhaushälfte mit Gemeinschaftspool

Beim Eintreten besticht die hohe, offene Bauweise. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Fenster sind nicht wirklich zu öffnen, man ist auf die Klimaanlage angewiesen. Diese sind zu 50% neu, arbeiten gut. Leider aber auch 50% alt (Wohnzi, Hauptschlafzi) brauchen mind. 30 Min. Vorlauf bis sie anfangen zu kühlen(unnötiger Stromverbrauch!) Das OG mit allen Schlafzi./Bädern ist gut eingerichtet, Betten sind gemütlich. Ausstattung Küche: Geschirr super, Besteck erinnert eher an SpielzeugAnsonsten Ausstattung ok. Der Außenbereich, hier täuscht das tolle Bild der Villa die Vorstellung. Es ist nur der linke Terrasse zu nutzen. Ab Jacuzzi (funktioniert nicht) darf das Grundstück nicht betreten werden da sonst Alarm ausgelöst wird. Es ist ausschließlich gestattet im Wasser bis nach vorne zu schwimmen. Der Pool ist klasse, leider war er bereits bei Ankunft verschmutzt, das waren nicht nur einzelne Blätter, sondern im tiefen Bereich lag bereits sehr viel Grüngut. Trotz eifriger Bemühung der Managerin haben wir keinen Poolservice bekommen. Wir haben tote Fledermäuse/Frösche rausgefischt, mit einer Chlortablette hätten wir uns wesentlich wohler gefühlt da auch keine Außendusche vorhanden ist. Leider sind auch alle 4 Poolliegen kaputt und nicht einladend, passt nicht zu der restlichen Ausstattung, hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden.Null Kulanz- Strom Nachberechnung! Trotz fehlendem Poolservice, wird einfach weggeredet, wirklich Schade Fazit: wir buchen hier nicht wieder!

Lovely villa

Had a great 2 weeks in this lovely Villa with a great pool close to all the West coast of Barbados has to offer. Great service from the owner Dee and the house manager Paulette. Very reasonably priced too. We will be back!

Dee is a wonderful host and our stay was fantastic.Good communication with her property manager. The house itself is a 5 minute ride to downtown Holetown where bars/restaurants/grocery stores are. The property has a lovely pool and well taken care of.

Great spacious clean and affordable

Our 4th time staying in Barbados self catering and found this place was probably the best property all round in our price bracket. It has good location, a lovely pool and plenty of space. Clean and well cared for by property manager. As others have said a car is preferable for which there is off road parking. Pool is great although the back of property doesn't get full sun most of the day if you intend to sun bathe instead of getting out and about.Has a full security alarm system and a safe for valuables. Would definitely recommend at this price point.

Ferienhaus Steeplechase Drive mit Wahnsinnspool!

Hier haben 2 Partien zusammen 1 Pool. Das stand so leider nicht in der Beschreibung. Wir hatten aber Glück und den Pool 2 Wochen für uns alleine. Aufenthalt daher ganz klasse. Im Norden befindet sich allerdings eine stark befahrene Straße.

Family Friendly

Our stay started off a little stressful. Our flight was delayed so we didn't get in until 11pm. We used Ways (which is always pretty accurate) to navigate the island but the address given on listing was different. I had to dig deep in the app to find the correct address. The surrounding area is not well lit so it took us a while and lots of circles to find the place. The open concept was perfect for our group. The master upstairs has it's own ensuite and the other two rooms share a bath. Since we a couple traveling with a small family this provided the privacy we needed. The pool was great. The neighbors were not there so we had it to ourselves. The location was great. Generally a 4 min drive to nice beach and amenities. The house handbook was very helpful with beach and restaurant info. We had a few hiccups. The pillows are in need to replacement. Their time is up! One of the cabinet doors fell off it's hinge but Paulette fixed it the next day. One air conditioner was not working when we got there but Paulette fixed it the next day. The air con's are all different so it was hard to figure them out. The air con in the master only worked on one setting so I was up 4-5 times a night turning it on and off. We were aware of electricity fees and tried to be mindful. It still cost over $200 BBD for the week. Seems a bit much when we didn't run A/C so much. We did cook a few times and ran the washer/dryer a few times. Would stay again.

This was a fabulous property that catered for all the needs of our party (4 adults, a 3 year old and a 10 month old infant) and was excellent value for money. The ability to simply step outside onto the patio and into a wonderful swimming pool was just sublime. Paulette, who came to clean and look after the property, was first class. The location was quiet and easy to get to (excellent directions from the property manager) but you really do need your own transport if you want to get about. We had many trips to nearby Holetown and visited other parts of the island, always returning to a welcoming 'holiday home'.

The Villa was lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay. Just a few things that should be addressed by owner or property manager, the pool was extremely dirty and the jacuzzi didn’t work the pool company came once during our time, they were told to give the pool a good clean by us and did not. The beds were not the most comfortable master bedroom was extremely hard and I like a firm mattress and the couch in living room was not comfortable to sit on and low if you have bad knees hard to get up from! They really should replace some of the furniture.

Pros: location, spacious, comfortable beds, nice pool, quiet, felt safe (good security system). Very comfortable place to stay! Nice pool towels provided. Good value for the price!! Cons: clarity of listing; surplus charges for electricity - we always turned off AC when not in a room yet electricity was quite costly. Keep in mind- if you're using the washer and dryer or turning on the water heater for dishwasher or a shower - electricity costs apply!! Guest responsibility for household supplies was unclear. A more detailed guest book would be helpful re: communication and guest responsibilities. Pool Lights did not work - safety issue with young kids. Limited number of towels. I would recommend renting a car as there are no ammenitites within reasonable walking distance. There is a nice market very close by on Sundays. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.

The property is spacious and clean. Communication with Dee (Owner) & Fernanda (property manager) was excellent. Even though it’s a little out of the way it was quite noisy with constant motorbikes on the nearby fields! The pool is huge and clean even though it looks a bit dirty! The spa in this pool wasn’t working. Also if you’re a sun worshiper this isn’t the place for you as you don’t get much sun around the pool and patio areas during the day! There’s limited space around the pool to put the sunbeds, but there’s some beautiful beaches down the hill so we didn’t bother with the pool much! Overall I’d recommend the Villa, but a car is a must 👍

Wonderful Relaxing Vacation

Dee's property is superb. Thanks for a wonderful stay ! Location tucked away on the edge of Sandy Lane Golf Course. Superb for early morning strolls. Beautiful Home and Location

Residence was gorgeous, well maintained, the pool was perfect for night swims every evening. Dee was very quick with communication and extremely friendly. Couldn't be in a nicer or more convenient location. Extended our stay quickly and with absolutely no issues. Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Great stay and very close drive to Holetown

Nice property. Air conditioner worked well in every room and cooled down room quickly. Pool is beautiful. Saw one monkey on the fence in the morning. Dinner at Holetown was only an 8 minute drive and centrally located to get anywhere else on the island within 30 minutes. Nice place to come back to in the evenings after a long day at the beach

Beautiful

We had a great time here with our family, 3 children 18+. The house was beautiful and the pool was big and clean. We enjoyed ourselves for three weeks. It is advisable to rent a car because it is quite remote from shops and supermarkets and the like.

Beautiful home with pool

We had a wonderful time in Barbados! The beautiful home is in a very nice neighborhood on the west side of the island. It is close to beaches , shopping and restaurants. Our host Dee was very responsive and accommodating.

Great house!

The house is very big, and lovely. Fernanda (the property manager) was wonderful. Met us at check in, gave us her number, and responded to all problems quickly. Example: I lost the key to the travel lock on my suitcase and texted her to find out if there were tools in the house. There were not, but she sent out a handy man the same day to remove the lock. Above and beyond what she needed to do, and much appreciated. Downsides: I agree with what other reviewers have said. There is not a lot in walking distance. The water from the tap never gets properly hot. The jets on both the outside jacuzzi and the the tub in the master bath don’t work. Upsides: The house is gorgeous and huge. The pool is wonderful. Most of the dive shops and at least one rum distillery tour will pick you up so you don’t necessarily need to drive anywhere. There are some outstanding restaurants nearby. If you want to see the whole island, just about anywhere is less than a 30 minute drive from here.

Home away from home

The property was excellent. It was clean and relatively relaxing. The area was extremely quiet and very little traffic.
