"Bar and restaurant were good, staff there were fine. Hotel is run down, rooms smell of pot, bed mattress and pillows were terrible. Breakfast was next to nothing. Grounds and hotel are in very poor upkeep. "

The back views of the lake were breathtaking, and I loved waking up to the sounds of the waves crashing every morning. It was also centrally located for our sightseeing. We will definitely return in the warmer months! This is the perfect getaway. "

"The smell in the room was foul. Smelt like cigarettes and dog/cat pee. Boyfriend had to go get some sort of air freshener from front desk. The carpets need to be torn up. No microwave or fridge. The price is cheap so I guess that’s a huge plus and it’s in a safe area. But, definitely won’t be back… "
