"We loved our stay, cozy cottage, found all we needed, good for 1-2 people. Location was good, we had short walk/ drive to local supermarket, trails, beach. All places we love in New Harbor were close, so we enjoyed our stay. Bill met us the day we arrive and Susan some other day checked on us- thank you! Easy to follow directions and check in. The book they prepared had all necessary information even if someone is visiting Maine first time. Special treat- comfortable bed- not always we’re lucky with that. Kitchen had all we needed."

"Our only complaint is that on Tuesday morning there was no place nearby to get breakfast. The hotel had good coffee, but nothing else. There is a restaurant close by but its not open on Tuesdays. We asked the front desk about breakfast and all he said was we'll probably find something open in Damariscotta, way back by Route 1. The hotel could have supplied bagels, donuts, etc. on Tuesdays knowing the restaurant nearby was closed. We did find a diner on our way to Damariscotta but it was very small and we were told its a 45 minute wait. Since we had to go to Damariscotta, where we did find breakfast, we continued our travels and did not return to Pemaquid where we might have visited the Fort, etc."

"We were very comfortable in Martha’s house! Very clean, well stocked, obviously she likes to bake/cook! Had a little trouble locking up door as it told us it wasn’t locked when it clearly was, no issue w/ check in code. The book collection and Down East magazines were amazing, we brought books and sewing projects…never turned on the TV. Anyone w/ mobility issues should be carful w/ thresholds, few steps and rugs. Thank you for sharing this lovely house, so cozy!"

"The cottage was very clean with many interesting accessories - loved the fireplace screen! Many aspects of the cottage reminded me of my grandmother's house when I was growing up. Location is wonderful with many areas to walk. Wasn't much of a view of the ocean nor could we hear it from the cottage but just a short walk a & there it was. Kitchen had pretty much everything needed however a step stool would be handy as for someone vertically challenged, as I could not reach higher shelves /light over stove"

"We had such a great week at this cozy cottage! The porch was definitely our favorite, the perfect spot to relax, eat, and enjoy the evenings. The cottage really is a short trip to the beautiful Pemaquid Beach. Be aware that the beach closes at 6 PM and the water gets shut off at the same time. so you may end up bringing plenty of sand home with you!"
