"We loved our stay at Johanna’s Kelafas home. The home was very private, beautifully decorated with many personal touches and everything needed for our stay. The grounds are beautiful, flowers, herbs, fruit trees! We especially enjoyed the fresh grate fruit! Great place to enjoy day trips to the beach, rural villages for an authentic Greek experience and restaurants in the area. Johanna was lovely and very responsive with recommendations to the area. Don’t hesitate to book her place!"

"The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area."

"Das Doppelhaus liegt nur 50 Schritte von Meer entfernt und liegt absolut ruhig. Die kleine Bucht ist nur wenig belebt und meist ist man dort ganz allein. Mit den Nachbarn teilt man sich eine Terrasse, die durch einen Sichtschutz getrennt ist. Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder"

"Great location. House is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths. Very quiet neighborhood up the hill yet close to Chania old town/Venetian harbor by car. Also close to airport. House is very clean. The view of the sea is amazing with 3 balconies (2 facing the sea). You can enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning without any disturbances. Kitchen is fully equipped, but we only used the kettle and nespresso machine. Host, very responsive and replies within mins to any questions you might have. Great stay"

"We were four adults (two sisters and their husbands). We were enchanted and charmed by this home. The owner, Peter, was incredibly helpful and attentive in every way, and even treated us to a real Cretan dinner the last night of our stay. We laughed so much that evening! "The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."
