"In the big scheme of things, as with all hotel rooms, you just have to manage expectations. After driving up the mountain to park, walking down some outside stairs that are in desperate need of repair and most likely would fail any sort of safety inspection it had to go through, once inside we were created by a delightful person who checked me in and gave me a room in the back so as to be a little quieter. The room itself was clean. The bathroom was dated and is probably due to be refurbished. Other than that, the cookies available at check-in made up for it. Typical Hampton Inn breakfast buffet, but an exceptionally clean area."

"The toilet had brown streaks and looked unclean. A corner of the bathroom was crumbling. Nobody made my bed and I had to get my own towel for the second night."

"This hotel has gone from a Holiday Inn to a Ramada Inn to another hotel in between and now the Hilltop Inn. The hotel does what it needs to do for where it is, but is in dire need of a major overhaul if not a complete teardown and rebuild."
