"Lovely room"

"We arrived after midnight due to traffic chaos but staff were waiting & very friendly & helpful. Hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas & very cosy. Breakfast is plentiful & delicious especially the haggis :-). Takeaway hot drinks available too. Beautiful countryside setting, very quiet but walk down the drive & catch the x27 or x28 bus on the main road & you can be at Princes Street in the City centre in 1/2hr max. Would thoroughly recommend & will definately be back again. "

"The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate. They are mid-renovations. I believe we got a new room. The view was incredible. We also ate in the dungeon for the tasting menu andand enjoyed the "

"Absolutely brilliant for our 2 day short break , celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday we were offered an upgrade and the room was beautiful . comfortable bed and lovely views , staff were amazing and very helpful . we will definitely be back! thankyou again for this stay ! "

"Friendly greeting. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Plenty of lifts to get to floors. Bar staff chatty and approachable great choice of drinks and food . Fast with both. Free parking (what a bonus) bus stops just around the corner although taxis were quicker to get into Edinburgh town. Would highly recommend and use again. Loved Scotland!!!"
