"The room was tiny so it was a bit difficult to have two suitcases in it. Maybe shelves instead of the closet would be more workable for couples. The bathroom was the smallest but most functional I've ever had. Alan was really helpful with the map to find the best places about and tide table for visiting St Michaels Mount. Would definitely recommend it. "

"I spent a week here in early September and was very impressed.In terms of location, it's about a 10-minute walk to the town centre and a further 5 minutes to the bus & rail stations. The Western Promenade and a Lidl store are literally just around the corner.The accommodation is very modern, clean and very well equipped (oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, TV). There's an open-plan living/kitchen area downstairs with a small 2-seater sofa plus a small dining table & 2 dining chairs.Upstairs there's a compact bedroom with a standard size double bed (one side up against the wall), but not a great deal of storage space. There is, however, an excellent modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower - that was a real plus for me. The towels, bedding etc. all seemed to be brand new, as was the accommodation as a whole.I couldn't find fault with the property at all - it was perfect for me."

"We received a warm welcome and were very comfortable at Mounts View. We arrived to a clean, well equipped accomodation with outstanding view of the ocean. Communication was excellent and if we had any questions, no matter how small, they were answered in good time. Very happy with our stay here and would highly recommend."

"Double room with sea view. The bed was very comfortable. The furniture was flat pack type and mismatched, and not spotlessly clean. Please be aware when booking that it is sold with 'free breakfast' which is not the case. We were advised on check in to take breakfast at a nearby cafe at £12.50ph for a cooked english plus the price for tea or coffee so you need to factor this in to your budget. The proprietor did offer us porridge or a croissant "as a gesture of goodwill'", but we really needed a better start to the day as we were staying there to walk the SW coast path. When we checked out we asked whether she might consider a little discount to offset the cost of our breakfasts that we had to eat out and again "as a gesture of goodwill on this occasion" we were given £20 discount but told in no uncertain terms that "it didnt sit well with her". But she doesnt have to worry as we wouldnt hurry back there anyway. The dog is lovely though, very friendly. Parking is free piblic parking outside the accomodation and is first come first served."
