Our five kids ranging from 9 to 17 enjoyed the pool, the gardens, the gym, the pool house games and the movie room. Many sitting rooms to sit as a family or to find solitude. Also, a short walk to the local pub, the Swan. We had an excellent time and highly recommend this property."

"Beautiful property, very nice renovation so there is a very modern kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen very well appointed with espresso machine and modern appliances. Nice touch to have a few coffee pods, tea bags, crisps and cookies in a welcome pack. Loved the walk in shower. "

"Seven of us age range 6-75 stayed at Gardners Cottage during New Year week. On arrival welcomed by the warmth of the property in the afternoon of the last day of the year. And welcomed even more by the Christmas tree beautifully lit in the dining room.Other lovely festive decorations( including mistletoe ) were still there in the hallway and lounge.The lounge very comfortable but may have benefitted by another light in the winter afternoon and evenings. "Oat Barn has everything you could wish for a delightful stay. It is beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Very clean and high quality. Great outdoor space overlooking fields and the church. Shot walk to an excellent traditional country pub. Short drive to plenty of pretty villages."

"The front of the house was not welcoming with a lot of dirty cobwebs around the window and door.The front door opened into the main living room which is the selling point of the property, it does have a wow factor with ingle nook fireplace and oak beamed walls but the sofas are old and uncomfortable and the large rug is very faded and rucks up and becomes a tripping hazard.The kitchen and bathroom are very dated (80s) and needing a complete refurbishment. "Check in was easy.Everything was tip top and very clean ,For future guests maybe a microwave sometimes when you are away for work or pleasure you don’t want to cook and a micro meal is easy. Also an outside table would be nice. "
