"Nice comfortable and quiet hotel in the centre of Cardiff ideally place for some shopping, bars and visiting the museum. Very nice spa and pool. Our room was directly opposite so bars and a night club which was a bit concerning, however, we didn’t hear a thing, room widows very well insulated. Parking expensive at £32.50 in the NCP directly opposite the hotel for 24 hours, but you do get a 25% reduction from reception. "

"Had a fantastic stay at the Sandringham. We travelled by train and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the station. It is also centrally located so again all local attractions and bars and restaurants within walking distance. It is also easy to get a bus to and from Cardiff Bay from a bus stop just down the road. Rooms are basic but have everything you need and more supplies of tea/coffee etc are easily available from reception. There is no lift, but this did not cause us a problem. On arrival a member of staff actually carried our case to the room for us. Great value for money. What really made our stay here so great though was Alison on reception and all of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to me and my autistic son. They really went the extra mile. Would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, clean and great. The halls and other parts of the hotel could use an updating. Deborah at the front desk was so kind and helpful! Staff were all wonderful! "

"Lots of car parking areas and the train station all within a few minutes walk.Great selection for breakfast-Scrambled eggs,Sausages, bacon, hashbrowns,mushrooms ,tomatoes. Toast,,cereal etc.Very polite staff.slight noise from bar or nightclub next door but it didn't affect us at all.Great price-really easy to get into Cardiff.Would definitely stay again"
