"We stayed here for one night on a cross-country trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. the property was maintained fine and easy to access from the interstate, and the room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was just okay; it was basically just a cereal option, toast, and other bread/starch options. Our room was supposed to have a coffee maker but didn't. When we asked about it we were told we could just use the coffee and water in the lobby, which is fine but it's disappointing that the motel management isn't concerned with making sure the rooms are stocked with amenities as advertised.
Travelers should be aware that Ogallala is very small town (obviously) and there are limited dining options. We were there on a Monday night and there were two restaurants and one fast food option open. The two restaurants that were open both primarily had greasy, heavy meal options. Maybe there are a wider range of healthier options available the other nights of the week but travelers should be aware of that in case someone has dietary concerns."
