"We’ve stayed here a couple of times while visiting Lake Forest, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. The property is well maintained, parking is plentiful, and the rooms are decent for a short stay. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but they’re fine for a night or two. It’s also pet-friendly, which is a plus. The breakfast is good as well, and the biscuits were especially delicious. They also serve cookies for guests in the lobby, and that’s a nice touch. During this most recent visit, we ended up moving to the Ayres Hotel & Spa next door for the remainder of our stay and slightly preferred that property overall in terms of comfort and room quality."
