"Joanna is a very welcoming and incredibly helpful host. Our flight was delayed and we had problems with our hire car booking with Europcar - they wouldnt allow us to move it to the following day, so we had to cancel or incur the full cost as a no- show fee.I texted Joanna from Manchester airport asking for taxi and car hire recommendations. Within 20mins Joanna had arranged a minibus to pick us up from the airport at midnight and a hire car to be delivered to the villa the next day.When we arrived at the villa, Joanna had also left some food in the fridge for us.The villa was beautiful, very clean and had stunning views. We had a fabulous holiday - thank you Joanna. "

"Excellent stay for three families and grandparents. Three small apartments on ground floor (one double bedone single bed per appartment, one also with sofa bed). Two doubles and two singles on first floor. All rooms with air condition.The small (rocky) beach right below the house has amazingly clear waters, and the pool was great for our kids (7-11 years.). Only 100m to a great taverna (Mimi’s). Also near a really nice sandy beach with a beach bar/restaurant.From first floor, the ocean view is amazing, and we ate on the terrass several nights, at sunset. And the garden is beautifully kept.Only a few and minor ”complaints”. The family kitchen on the first floor is on the smaller side, and there is no fridge next to bbq area (a bit of a hassle to run up and down to fetch cold beverages). Also you need a car to get to a grocery store. But overall a wonderful stay, including hospitality from Petros and Katerina, and the two very cute ”house” cats (loved by the kids). "

"We had a great stay in this lovely villa. Located on the edge of a charming village. There is a supermarket 60 seconds away with two others in the village along with a bakery, butchers, fishmongers an ice cream shop and a selection of tavernas. A couple of the tavernas will deliver meals to the villa. Even though it is in the village the villa is very quiet and private and the view from the pool is outstanding. Andreas was a very warm, generous and responsive host who provided several little touches to make the stay even more special. We stayed in early April and paid extra to have the pool heated. This was definitely worth it. The pool was pre-warmed and ready from the time we arrived and even though there were some chilly days the pool was always warm and inviting. It was also exceptionally clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa. Thank you for hosting us Andreas."

"We had an absolutely wonderful two-week stay at this home! It is perfectly located between Chania and Rethymno, making it easy to explore both cities while enjoying the peacefulness & privacy of the countryside. 2 nearby markets made grocery shopping convenient, and we found incredible restaurants in the area—Hasika in Rethymno was our favorite, with the best Greek salad & bougatsa of our trip!What truly set this VRBO apart was our host, Melina. She warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thorough walkthrough. Not only did she make us feel welcome, but she also prepared a delicious homemade Greek meal, a bottle of wine and her own Raki. Her friendly advice and attentive hospitality throughout our stay made all the difference.The house itself was spotless, with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Great A/C & heat. The kitchen & outdoor firepit were well-equipped, making it easy to cook & enjoy meals at home. We visited several stunning beaches, including Elafonisi & Preveli but Episkopi just three minutes from the house was the best! We loved having the best of both worlds—tranquility among the olive & lemon trees while still being close to restaurants & shopping. The outdoor spaces were a highlight; we spent many hours on the beautiful covered patio, balconies to stargaze and both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces added a cozy touch.We are so glad we chose Crete for our March vacation—it was the perfect getaway, and this home made it truly unforgettable.
