"One elevator was out of service and the escalator smelled like hydraulic fluid, from the 3rd floor to the lobby. The place is due for a refresh, furniture is dated and our room looked a little tired. It doesn't help that the price doubled because of the marathon that was going on that day. Coffee was spilled in the one functioning elevator and it wasn't dealt with right away. It is too bad, because the location is great. We needed to catch a cruise the next day so great place to catch the train into town. So, disappointed and I don't think we'll stay there again."

"The entire hotel feels old but was well kept and maintained. I was staying after a cruise and needed a deep clean, the water was very clean and felt refreshing. The showers are a bit slow and weak but I'm assuming that's to conserve water? Staff was very helpful during the check-in and check-out process. I would definitely come back here in the future."

"I slipped in the bathtub immediately after turning on the water, which suggests that the housekeeping staff may not have thoroughly rinsed away the soap residue left from cleaning. No bathtub mat was available. Fortunately, I was able to grab the shower curtain to steady myself; otherwise, the fall could have resulted in a serious injury. In addition, the pillows did not smell fresh. I also found hair in the bathtub upon arrival. On a positive note, staff were friendly and am glad there was breakfast, very convenient especially for those leaving for the Airport early morning. Had a good meal at Free Bird Table & Bar which was just across the street"
