"We booked two rooms for a one night family stay. The hotel is basic but had everything we needed and was comfortable. We used the restaurant in the evening and the food (pizza, wrap) was good. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. What really lifted the stay was the performance and attitude of the staff. Friendly and really helpful. Attentive at dinner and breakfast. A real effort at breakfast to keep items replenished and make sure people had what they wanted. Just before the end of breakfast staff made sure everyone knew the buffet was about to close, so they could go to get anything else they wanted. "

"The only compliant I had was I payed for a late checkout & and housekeeping, kept on knocking on the door for me to leave the room after I paid for an extra 2 hour check out. The front staff needs to communicate better with housekeeping for future guests who want to extend the extra 2 hours of late check out."

"I loved that my dog got a welcome doggie goody bag on check-in and she could eat breakfast with us. Very clean, modern and lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay again. We stayed the night before as we caught the channel tunnel the following morning which was convenient."
