"The property was exactly as advertised. Lovely river views in a quiet country setting. Would 10/10 stay there again. Our host/owner Fraser was very communicative and friendly as he greeted me upon arrival with his super cute dog Twig. Enjoy the sunsets on the pier with a glass of wine and relax....worth every penny!"

"It was a beautiful blast from the past. In the day when a motel was operated by family that insured everything was a beautiful experience. The rooms had been professionally upgraded with attention to every detail. The outside is festively painted to bring a sense of fun and relaxation. The owner even upgraded us to a bigger room at no charge and escorted us to the room. It was our first time staying there but we know now we have found our new favorite place to stay. Even though it is 30 minutes away from where we needed to go. If you are on your way to the Outer Banks this would a wonderful start of your vacation."

"Clean well-maintained bungalow that has upfitted kitchens and baths. Very large screened in porch with cool, large porch swing. Large kitchen island with stools, games and sectional sofa make it ideal for family gatherings. Comfortably sleeps 6. We had the pleasure of seeing dolphins swim by the pier during our stay, and caught stripers, brim and catfish. Only drawback was some difficulty fishing due to large number of stumps and snags occurring around the pier. The pier itself and bulkhead area needs some work."
