"I was cautious like most other people said but the reviews were good and I'm not particularly squeamish about hotels. I look for no bugs and no stains on the bed. I got that. Also, the room had a comfortable bed, decent shower and sink with toiletries, and more importantly, a microwave and fridge that allowed me not to have to eat fast food every night. The TV even had a host of good programing. I have no complaints! As others have mentioned in some reviews, this is the country! a couple dollar stores that actually were just about a dollar for all the drinks, snacks, and frozen burritos I stocked up on. Maybe 3 fast food places and a really good Mexican place I enjoyed for dinner. Lastly, a drug store and a gas station. So if you can't get what you need from these places, bring it with you!!"

"I had to ask for all my money back because I was told numerous of time that the pool was open and the of the send a massage that the pool was close for a week. I was looking fowards for all the amenities the be open especially when im traveling with my family"

"We had a lovely room with a lot of natural light.. curved windows with shutters. Comfortable bed and pillows. I would have loved having more fruits for breakfast… personal preference Wonderful outdoor seating.. The staff were attentive and very helpful."
Romantic Waterfront Carriage House in Heart of Edenton's Historic District

"Super cute venue and excellently placed home. You are right across from the waterfront Park with excellent views of the water and made for an excellent romantic getaway. Yes, the home was built in the 1700s, but I have a feeling that the carriage House, which is what you will rent, was built within the last few decades. All of the amenities are new, the towels smelled wonderful and were the biggest I've ever seen, there are a couple of bathrobes if you're that kind of person, and the TV is a smart TV so you can watch the videos that you're subscribed to. The host and her son were very welcoming. While you are not renting the main house, the front porch is available to you 24/7. Super friendly! The placement in the community is excellent for walking. You are literally 5-10 minute walk to the City square on the water. If you are a boater, this is an excellent house for you as the docs are right there at the City square and the harbormaster is super friendly. It also happens to be the location of the herringbone restaurant on the water, which is by far the nicest restaurant in town.The carriage House is broken up into two floors. The bottom floor is just a sitting area with some books. Everything else, bedroom, bathroom, mini kitchen, etc. Are all on the second floor. The mini kitchen was nice and had plenty of bottled water for your use, which you will want to use. The city water has a pretty bad aftertaste. All in all, it was well set up and very convenient to town."

"Beautiful, cozy and peaceful property on the Sound. The home was clean, kitchen and bathroom(s) were well stocked and the host was wonderful. As a pet-friendly location, it was the perfect place for us and our pups to stay. Get ready to relax!"
