"We visited Jalandhar in Aug 2026 and stayed at The Maya. We booked on hotels.com -straightforward booking process and good discounted rates!
The Maya is centrally located ,with easy access to local amenities and public transport. I would like to particularly mention the front desk staff - very professional and very helpful. They were all lovely to speak to and greeted with Sat Sr Akal on the phone /in person which I value very much .Nothing was too much trouble .Staff celebrated the Independence day during our stay-they hoisted the flag and decorated the hotel .
Food-plenty of choices for breakfast but I feel the quality of food could be worked upon. I still remember Maya from years ago ,when the food here was the talk of the town. I guess I was probably looking for the same quality.
Room- comfortable and clean as were the common areas. Good wifi but maybe change to better tv s .The bathroom is a bit cosy but worked okay.
Gym-basic gym setup and functional ,helps if you have a long stay
Over all a great experience and we will be staying here again!"
