"Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke week 'in the middle of nowhere'. Een plek waar je bijna geen behoefte meer hebt om iets anders te doen dan in en rondom het huis te hangen; na ja, behalve even een koffie doen in het slaperige dorpje Gualdo en van de Monte Sibillini genieten. Michele, de buurman, is een geweldige host."

"Room was nice. Close to Santa Rita and town. Staff was helpful but couldn’t explain 12 euro charge. I paid it but was not pleased"

"Great location walking distance to St Rita Basilica. Staff were very friendly. Fantastic views from the balcony. Manager took time out of his busy schedule to help us solve an issue with one of the nuns at the basilica. He didn’t have to do it but he didn’t want his guests to leave upset , although the issue was not with the hotel at all! We will definitely go back to the same hotel."

"My wife, two teenage children, and two other teenage traveling companions visited Montefortino and it was an all around amazing time and experience! The host and his wife treated us all like family the moment we arrived and he wouldn't rest until he knew everyone was feeling perfectly bliss. They cooked and fed us like kings and queens our entire stay. He insisted on obliging us on any question or simple inquiry to learn more about and enjoy everything in the absolutely beautiful region and environment. The home is a spacious comfort cottage in the mountains. The air conditioners were new, reliable, and everyone slept perfectly sound. An added bonus was knowing we'd be waking up to a delicious home cooked breakfast feast that was waiting for us to enjoy under the beautiful morning sun. The real beauty, however, is the people. On our last night, at our impromptu request, the host and his wife welcomed us into their kitchen to teach our four teenagers to make traditional pasta and desserts. Their loving dogs entertained my family that night and for our entire stay. We ended up eating dinner and celebrating that night with them and a few others from the surrounding towns. None of us were ready to leave when it was time to head out. You don't want to miss this experience!"

"This was one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. Paolo and Franscesco were amazing hosts and gave us a full tour to understand the history of the castle. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Wish I stayed longer but will definitely go back in the future."
