"We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor and it was wonderful. It was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom space over looking the sea. We didn’t feel like leaving the room as it was so relaxing there. The location is also great in walking distance to town and wonderful restaurants. The hotel staff was very pleasant and special mention to Ravindra from Suriname who made the stay more enjoyable with his warm friendly nature. Recommendation - rooms should contain body lotion. I didn’t ask them at the front desk and I’m sure they would have given me but everything else was amazing. "

"Third time to this boutique hotel in 2 years. Convenient for scuba diving as there is a dive shop 100 feet from the property. The staff at Scuba Lodge are friendly and accommodating. There are 2 pools (small) on the property with one (infinity) overlooking the ocean. The food is excellent, great coffee and croissants. I plan to return sooner than later"

"This is a beautiful hotel. My wife and I stayed in the "fiddler on the roof" (what the room is called). The room is very spacious, and you have your own private terraces. The terraces is spacious and has amazing views. I highly recommend adding the daily breakfast. I also recommended having dinner and watching the sunset. All the food we ate was delicious. The staff was great and gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat while on the trip. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. My wife and I will be coming back and staying at BijBlauw."

"I came early for check in and the offered me to store my luggage. Walking distance into the town where all the hot hang out spots are. Front desk staff and maintenance was great. The bar staff are really chill and open to trying to make drinks off the menu. The Mini market always has fresh pasteries in the morning and very friendly. Ohh the staff made sure I watched my El Classico game and yes Barcelona won. Will be back definitely…"
