"From the moment we walked in, we felt safe and well taken care of! Staff is all friendly and helpful. The property has the old glamour of the grand hotels of the past with all of the modern comforts and amenities. Resort Fee gets turned into a hotel credit to spend at restaurant. Love this place! "Great place to stay in San Francisco! We were a 5 minute walk to lots of shopping and restaurants were everywhere. There was a stop for the cable car right outside the hotel as well. Room was clean. The rooftop bar was also fun and convenient for a cocktail at the end of the night. Would stay here again"

"I had a room with bay views and it was not disclosed ahead of time by the hotel or Expedia that there are party boats on the weekend at the pier across, and they play very loud music at night. I called the hotel front desk staff and they said the loud music goes on until 11:00 pm on Saturday nights and there is nothing they can do about it. It was hard to relax and fall asleep. I would not stay there again. I am disappointed. "

"Chose to stay here after my original hotel was cancelled, glad I did as it's in a great location for walking to the pier's, boat tours, Alcatraz etc. The Krups coffee machine in the room was a nice touch and the hotel and rooms were very clean. My only gripes where the water machine on our floor did not work and some of the furniture in the outdoor spaces has seen better days considering the hotel charge $30 a day for these amenities."
