"Only one friendly staff member and he worked the desk, everyone else was rude or unable to communicate due to language barrier. The parking was awful. Away from hotel on a dirt road not well lit at night. When you are traveling alone that can be frightening. Stayed on the third floor, no working elevator n the last day with lots of luggage to bring down several flights of stairs with no help from staff. Very disappointing. Will not be back here, ever. "

"Check in was good. After checking in and as we were preparing to put our stuff in the cabinets I noticed that drawer under the phone has juice box that was opened and juice all over the drawer. I took the picture of it and went to front desk to show the mess it created and was told it would be taken care of..... As the day we left the mess was never touched!!. On our second day, the cleaning crew totally skipped our room so I had to chase them down and asked why our room was not being cleaned? She said she didn't know that we wanted cleaned and I said well, I didn't know I needed to ask to have our room cleaned and have clean towels put in. She asked what do you need done? I asked just to replaced our towels and quick clean. After several minutes she came back with handful of towels and left them by the sink and left. Nothing more was done... I will never return to this hotel, NEVER!!"

"Overall decent. Got the wrong room when checked in. I think they were going to fix it the next afternoon but we didn’t want the hassle with relocating by that point. Also, room didn’t have coffee maker. I asked for one and was told someone would deliver it but never got it. Breakfast buffet not worth the money for us. The location of the property is very good. On-site bike rental good too as long as they have bikes available. One day we had to rent at another location. However, the staff at the recreation desk very helpful. We didn’t valet but that team was friendly and helpful too. Review your bill before checking out. Thankfully, we did and got everything fixed before final charges. No show stoppers but would only go back for the location. "

"I had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Hotel in Hilton Head. From the moment we arrived, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. The first room we were checked into had a wet carpet and a strong mildew mold odor that was impossible to ignore. It felt unsanitary and uncomfortable immediately. Even the hotel staff seemed visibly concerned and disappointed by the state of the room, which only reinforced how unacceptable the situation was. The bathroom floor was dirty, there was hair present, and the entire space felt neglected and poorly maintained. We were moved to a second room, but unfortunately, it wasn’t much better. It was dusty, dingy, and still had an unpleasant smell. At that point, it was clear that the overall condition of the hotel was not up to standard. For a Hilton property, this was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness and basic upkeep should be a given, and this experience fell far short. I would not recommend staying here based on the current conditions."

"The hotel needs a makeover. For $250+ a night it should’ve been better. The cleaning staff need to step up their game. I pored water in the coffee pot n ran it thru and the water came out nasty. There was even a hair in it. The floors need mopping. The bathroom needs lighting and an overhaul. The mini fridge leaks inside. Water all inside. The bathroom door would not shut. The bed slept great and the TV was nice. The location is great. Right on the beach. Near the pier and stores. I would return simply bc of the location. "
