"Overall, we were very happy at DoubleTree in Burlington. We really appreciated the shuttle taking us to and from downtown Burlington. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the dining room was just mediocre however. "
"The Blind Tiger house is an architectural gem, beautifully decorated. You instantly feel at home, with all the amenities within easy reach. The atmosphere is warm and refined. I highly recommend this place!"
Centrally located, a Beautiful Landmark House for an ideal Family Getaway!
10/10 Excellent
"Little Maple House was the perfect home base for our trip to Vermont for a family wedding. The house is a beautifully balanced blend of historic charm and modern updates - clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. Each member of our group had ample space and privacy, thanks to the generous number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as additional rooms like a sunroom, office, and cozy TV room. At the same time, we loved gathering in the well-appointed kitchen and around the large dining table.Mornings on the lovely front porch were a highlight of our stay. The hosts truly thought of everything—from towels, soap, and shampoo, to coffee, cooking essentials, books, games, and even parking permits for extra vehicles. The home is ideally located within walking distance of downtown, the lake, and the local farmer’s market, and it was a quick drive to all of our wedding events. Our hosts were exceptionally communicative and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Burlington area."
"wonderful staff, easily accessible to all but not on a main thoroughfare. Rooms and amenities were terrific, loved having the full sized fridge in room"
"The restaurant menu was a bit limited. Road works outside the hotel area with broken and closed off sidewalks made getting to hotel entrance a nuisance and inconvenient. Not hotels fault just generally inconvenient,"
"I spent last weekend in the "Superior single room lake view." I'm a woman in her 30s traveling solo - in town for a wedding. The owner is very nice and welcoming (gave me a map and restaurant recommendations) and I felt safe walking to and from downtown Burlington from this location. Parking out front was easy. It was also easy to locate (an adorable pink Victorian house).
My room was pretty, clean, spacious, and comfortable! It was a warm weekend and I liked that the room had both ac and a fan (I didn't need ac overnight). The room had plenty of easy access outlets to charge all my things and the wifi was stable with no issues logging on. It also had lots of clean towels, a hairdryer, access to an iron, and plenty of space to hang my dresses and coats.
Beverages/coffee/snacks and light breakfast were available on the 2nd floor landing which was much appreciated!
My only teeny tiny word to the wise is that there wasn't conditioner (I really liked the other soap/bath products though), so be sure to bring that if it's in your routine - I just picked some up at a nearby cvs. Also the water pressure in the shower was a bit low. Not a huge deal though.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come again! Thank you! "
