"My husband and I stayed at this boat house for two days and nights. It was exactly as described, private, quiet, and surrounded by wild river life. Ralph was very easy to communicate with, and had literally thought of everything that would make this little house attractive for guests. It is very modern, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It literally has everything you need.The bed was very comfortable. We loved staying here!"

"I didn't expect it to be as remote as it was, but it was exactly what I didn't know I needed. A place to unwind. I caught bluebcrabs, spotted trout, drum, flounder, and even hooked (but not for long) a shark. And that was all without even getting in a boat. I saw a black bear, a bobcat, and turkeys on the road right outside the property when heading out for groceries around 5 pm. The sunrises were an intense tropical orange color that i haven't seen before; worth getting up at 5 for on a day off. Thanks to the host(s)!"

"There are so many things to say about Phyllis and her adorable cottage. I’ll start with how friendly she is…while being respectful of her guest’s privacy. She makes certain you have everything you need…and more. You can expect the most delicious, elegant pastries waiting for your arrival. The towels are huge, soft, and plentiful. The bed is comfortable. The fridge is full of a variety of cold drinks. And we were there for 2 weeks so the washer/dryer, dishwasher, and stove were extremely helpful. Her patio is spacious and relaxing (we loved hanging out with the local wildlife). And finally, her place is close to everything we like to do: restaurants, nature walks, and the wharf area. We had a terrific time!! Thank you Phyllis!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was extremely comfortable for my husband, myself, and our dogs. The deck and dock were wonderful. Dolphins swam close by!!Little trouble with fruit flies and house flies, but once we moved the garbage away from the house; much much better!We can’t wait to go back. The owner was quick to respond, managing company, not so much. But, didn’t matter because the owner responded. "

"Came here to relax and take in the beautiful view! Cottage is just adorable and every spot has something to look at. Enjoyed time watching sunsets, tons of graceful jellyfish, birds, dolphin and the ever changing water. Even saw a bald eagle circling above. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. Spent a little time in Washington NC which was a cute and friendly little harbor. This is definitely a great place to unwind, decompress and really just chill. "
