Great service and great breakfast!

The room was clean and fresh. The bed linens were crisp and clean. The room was equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, iron, flat screen tv, and hair dryer. Complimentary bottled water, coffee, fruit and pastries are provided in the main office in the morning. The hotel staff was friendly, even going so far as to remember and address me by my name when greeting me in the morning. I like the service of the staff , I like the coffee and free breakfast. Everything was clean . Really enjoy the stay.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating as we arrived a couple hours before check in and they were able to get us a room rather quickly. We were okay if they were not able to but I appreciate they were able to make the effort.

The Argonaut is in a great location to see many of San Francisco bay area attractions, all within walking distance. The hotel is clean, quiet and safe, with great hospitality service.

Their guest service is a 20/10. I called earlier in the week to ask about arriving early and parking. They were gracious and accommodating, saying we could check into our room if it was ready when we arrived. On arrival, the doorman (shamefully I didn’t get his name) was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hotel has been completely renovated and is tastefully decorated, cozy, with ample parking, and a g family running it are very lovely people.

Stayed 2nights. clean and beautifully kept room and bathroom. clean sheets and towels. will definitely stay there again.

Nice big rooms

I stayed twice, the first time I forgot a pair of shoes and a jacket. When I came back a week later, they still had it for me.

It's a charming, well-maintained older California building. We stayed in a room overlooking the courtyard and enjoyed the quiet, the flowers and the serenity of the whole location. It's convenient for restaurants and shops, the Hop-on/Hop-off tour bus, and there's even a 24-hr Walgreens close by. We're very happy to have found a hotel in San Francisco we want to return to.

It was a comfortable place to stay. They take care of the place. Electrical is modern. No problems at all. Refrigerator actually gets cold and not noisy. Good location for us.

My go to in the area for staying. Love this place and its location.

The property was convenient from the freeway. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was great. They also have happy hour on Monday-Friday with 2 comp drinks and light appetizers.
