"Nice welcome, good room, very clean. Good breakfast. We used the rear car park facility which was a little confusing due to no signage to say where we had to go to get to reception - apart from that all OK."

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Havelock. The owners are lovely people. Very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, with a sea view, plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. The ensuite was spotless, as was the room. Breakfast was extremely good. Full English and scrambled eggs cooked to perfection. The Havelock is in an ideal location. Close to Shanklin Village, and the beach. Which is handy if you have some mobility issues. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends & family."

"Really lovely place. I liked the decoration to the room (the rope along the skirting board was a nice touch). Jackie was a great host and provided a very nice breakfast. It’s well located between the high street, the beach/ cliff lift and the old town isn’t that far away at all. Would definitely return here some day! Thank you Jackie!"
