"Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room."

"Really lovely place. I liked the decoration to the room (the rope along the skirting board was a nice touch). Jackie was a great host and provided a very nice breakfast. It’s well located between the high street, the beach/ cliff lift and the old town isn’t that far away at all. Would definitely return here some day! Thank you Jackie!"

"Nice kitchen with all the appliances, cutlery and cookery you'd need. House itself is in a great location, it felt bright and clean. Lovely main room with ensuite. Beds were comfortable. IHC replied to all our queries really quickly, fantastic service. More toilet rolls!"

"Great hosts, really friendly attentive service. Lovely decor with a beech hut theme. Wonderful breakfasts. Lovely mature garden, very extoic, and I found myself sending more time in the garden than I probably should have. Clean facilities, very swanky spicy, sandlewoody shower gel/shammpoo and condition, dont bring any of your own you won't need it, and the conditioner made light work of my long fine, tangly and beechy hair. I enjoyed my stay so much here, that I feel it necessary to devote the time to compose a more comprehensive review, but I have just got back from my stay. If you are reading this, don't hesitate."

"the hotel is nicely placed near to Sandown Town centre and the beach. The hotel is large and is set in lovely grounds. Things that could be improved: - there was woodlice in our room, would be nice if these were eradicated - there is no footpath from the front of the hotel to the pavement outside the hotel. It means you have to walk along the access road to the hotel. Not nice with kids. - the breakfast is until 9am but by 845am was looking very tired. Would be good to have it properly refilled until 9am. - apart from the pool table there is nothing for children to do, this hotel is very much aimed at the retired short-break community. Overall the hotel was ok and served its purpose plus has red squirrels outside!"
