Security should be more focused on crowd control than guests. Overall I would recommend Bluebeard’s Castle in St Thomas."

There was a water pipe issue, but it was out of their control, and they thoughtfully provided water for guests. Remember, it's an island, and sometimes things happen! "Breakfast was always fresh during my stay, and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, one thing left me disappointed. I had booked this trip for my honeymoon, but on the day I was supposed to fly out, the airline canceled all flights to St. Thomas. I called the hotel and spoke with someone at the front desk, who transferred me to the manager. I hoped they could offer some kind of accommodation or flexibility given the situation, but they didn’t. They said that because the room was held for me, it counted as a no‑show, even though I was fully prepared to travel and the flight cancellations were completely out of my control. It made an already stressful situation even more upsetting."

"The shower drain didn’t work at all, it flooded our entire room and ruined our belongings that were on the floor. The staff couldn’t move us to a new room and didn’t make an effort to provide any compensation or additional services to offset this poor experience. "

"We had an amazing week at Villa Mas which met all of our expectations and more! It was perfect for our group of four couples. The house was very clean, well supplied, and in great shape. The location can't be beat and the view is unforgettable from the pool and deck. The host Bianca, was super helpful and very responsive to all of our needs; she even ordered a Mahjong set for us before our arrival. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay and she took care of them immediately. I would highly recommend Villa Mas and will certainly book again when we return to St. Thomas!"
