"I will start by saying we did have a lovely stay and the location of this property is fantastic. I do however, have some notes….The address is real hard to find and the driveway and parking spot is tight. I may suggest either more visible numbers or that the porch light gets left on?The lockbox situation at the office desperately needs an upgrade. That old hide a key device is not what I would call cooperative.We came in on a particularly hot day and I had not seen that there isn’t AC in the house, there were fans so we were grateful for those. But that’s just a heads up that I should have clocked in the listing. Also no dishwasher.The Carbon monoxide and smoke detectors in the granny suite were beeping, batteries need replacing.Top mattress of bunk bed is real bad, like completely unfit for anyone to sleep on. There is a glider chair that is floral. It is like a weird roller coaster ride that makes you feel like you’re gonna fall over, and then maybe you do just in fact fall backwards.The back porch area is lovely! The wood just outside the back door is rotting and springy and there is a step down that goes to the parking and granny suite that is a very shifty stacked stepping stone situation. It seems to me that is likely an accident waiting to happen.I think I would have felt better about the cost of this place if there weren’t so many things that needed some upgrading."
