"We stayed at this charming hotel July 15-18 and were so pleased that we picked this property in Pitlochry. Perched on a hill, the hotel is a lovely 19th century stone building and the interior is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. We had a premium room and were amazed by the size and beautiful views over Pitlochry. Our first night we decided ahead of time to dine at the hotel and it was absolutely wonderful. From the canapés and drink in the lounge to the last bite of dessert it was delicious. The included breakfast is top notch; I had a full Scottish breakfast one day and all the ingredients are clearly high quality, expertly prepared. On our last day we had to leave early for the airport and were hoping that we’d be able to perhaps get a breakfast roll or something for the car ride. Mind you, breakfast starts at 8:00 and we were leaving by 7:00. Not only did we get breakfast sandwiches, they thoughtfully added some other goodies like shortbread, bottled water and crisps and even came in early (before 7:00!) and made us coffees to take away! The Knockendarroch Hotel is at the top of our list for quality, service, comfort and value. What a gem in Perthshire. "
