"We had a truly relaxing stay at Murrayshall for a special birthday. It’s in such a beautiful setting and the house has tasteful decor in keeping with its Scottish surroundings. We stayed in one of suites a very short walk from the main house, they are very spacious. The staff are really friendly and always wanting to help, plenty of variety at breakfast which can also be made to order. Special shout out to the breakfast team - Dianne in particular, so attentive friendly and welcoming as well as hard working. Lots of activities on site including golf and outdoor pursuits. Would highly recommend for a mini break to recharge. "

"It’s a beautiful hotel , there were 5 of us and we had an apartment suite big enough for all . Loved having a sitting area. Close to all shopping but in a quiet area. Had free breakfast and we had doors out to the patio . Excellent."

"The room that we had on the third floor the windows had been painted shut and couldn't be opened. Could do with a wee paint in places, staff and house keeping were all exceptional, asked how we were anything we needed just to ask. Front of house staff in dining hall were all lovely and friendly "
