"Quiet, serene hotel that's away from the masses around the Fontenac but convenient to charming shops and restaurants. The hotel bellman are superb, as was the concierge when she was there, which wasn't at all on our first day. Check-in was held until nearly 4 p.m. even though the hotel didn't seem fully booked, and we had arrived on a red-eye. So I was not happy about that. Still, I would definitely stay again. "This is a new and beautiful hotel and a desirable neighborhood of old Quebec. Everything is within a few minutes of walking. Staff is very friendly. I would like to specifically mention Tristan from the breakfast area. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and they have a making coffee and lots and cappuccino, and they bring it over to your table. I would highly recommend a hotel.

"Chateau Frontenac is a venerable and iconic lodge that isn’t resting on its laurels. Despite being 150 years old, the service and staff and accommodations are still at the top of their game. My only complaint, and it’s a thin one, is that I understood there was a spa with a dry sauna and a wet sauna. Only the men’s locker room has both. The women’s just has a wet sauna but it was broken. "Family trips of 4. Quite area. 8 minutes driving to downtown Quebec and 10 minutes driving to Old Quebec without traffic. Near by hospital. Easy paid parking in day time but free at night after 9pm. "
"Beautiful spacious loft. Just a note…. The area can be a bit transient so we found we were in at dark. Good security as you need a specific code to enter the building and then for the unit. Nice 30 min walk to old Quebec City and close to the Metro for groceries. "
