"Physical upkeep was terrible. Stains in carpet. Couch torn and worn out. Bed had what appeared to be bread crumbs in the sheets, Window would not close fully. Hallway door to outside had hinge broken so would not close and hallway was extremely cold. Lobby in dire need of updating. Will never go to this hotel again."

"We stayed here as a home base for our mom trip away. It was quiet and relaxing. We spent our two days traveling between saugatuck, south haven, and plainwell and then came back to the lake house to relax. The hot tub was in a perfect location that felt private, but we could still enjoy watching wild life. The kitchen was fully stocked with both cooking essentials and some spices. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would stay here again without hesitation. "

"This Lakeside House is perfect for a weekend getaway. We did a weekend as a group of 8. The location was lovely with beautiful sunsets. Being pet friendly was also a plus. Host has excellent communication. Would recommend this stay."
