"The property grounds were a highlight. We made good use of the pond and it was really neat to hear all the frogs at night. Pros: -Pond - the water is clear and there are lots of toys! -Other outdoor perks like cornhole, horseshoes, visiting tortoises, and lots of places to sit and hang out. -The casita is a tight space, but very doable and it had everything we needed for our stay. AC works good and blocks out outside noise. Cons: -Lots of mosquitoes"

"This is the perfect place to stay to just get away! Roy was so great as a host, it felt so friendly and comfortable to stay at his guest house. My husband and I hung out playing pool, listening to music and relaxing as a perfect little get away. The kitchen has all you need to make meals just like at home. We hope to get away again soon. "Spent two weeks at this location. Though accurately listed as a studio apartment, this apartment was spacious, well laid out, and very clean. There was nothing we needed that was not available. We would be happy to, and probably will, stay in this apartment again. The temps were chilly while we were there, and the heater was too noisy to run at night. There was no heat in the bathroom."

"We stayed on this property to attend the TX Renaissance Festival. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Our family had a great time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Mrs. Sherry was such a gracious and accommodating host. We would definitely rent from her again. Our kids talked about the stay all the way home."
