"Pleasant spa-like feeling throughout. Cleaner, fresher, and sunnier than in the pictures. Definitely has a strong Andalusian character: solid and substantial with patios and big windows. Room was bigger than expected with closets and a huge bathroom. Hotel breakfast offered extensive delicious options and good coffee on a lovely roof terrace with a view over the city. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked tempting. Location wasn't the easiest to find (and no parking nearby) but...

"Just returning from a 7 night stay. Room was lovely all the essentials provided. Lovely powerful shower , comfy beds and very quiet. Also they have a lovely terrace with a pool to cool off and have a drink.A five min walk into the shops bars and restaurants and 10 min walk to centre Nerja. Tess and Jorge the owners we had the pleasure of meeting them both and if you needed their assistance they were fantastic to oblige. Would recommend to all our family and friends with no hesitation and thanks...

"We had a great time with a family of 10 in Manuel's Villa. It was very well equipped including cribs, toys, child seats, gym, pool, jacuzzi, washer, dryer, iron & board, etc. And very spacious! The pool heating (which we decided to pay for after arrival) became an issue where it kept tripping the circuit breaker for the rest of the house, resulting in power loss for the property.After a lot of back and forth with Manuel and his team we decided to forego the use of the heating in its current state, due to the above. Manuel was very responsive and both him & his team were trying their best to help us enjoy our stay. Even though we were able to use the pool heating for a day, Manuel still offered us a full refund for the issue. The pool was still usable otherwise, end of May.Another couple of things that were not obvious to us from the listing:- The master bathroom is connected to two bedrooms which are separated by a door, forcing whoever is in those two bedrooms to share the bathroom/space- The sprinkler system comes on around 12:00 AM full force, so if you're hanging out by the pool late, make sure you have your barthing suit on :)Honestly the view in the pictures does not do it justice, as it looks much better in person. And so does the entire house! You can literally just stay in this house your entire vacation and have something to do every day with the amount of amenities it offers.Thank you to Manuel & his team for making our stay very enjoyable!"

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "

"We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The view was fabulous and we enjoyed our time by the pool. Juan was great at answering our questions both before and during our stay, and was on hand when there were minor things that needed looking at. The walk up from the beach/restaurants is fairly steep but not too long (15 mins) and although looked daunting initially we actually all found it ok. The accommodation itself was basic but fine for our needs and the air con was much appreciated. The only slight negative was that there were a lot of ants, which meant you had to be really careful to cover/seal any food well, but to be expected I guess in a rural location in the height of summer and we managed ok."

"Al apartamento le faltaba algo de limpieza, la terraza espectacular y la piscina muy buena, puerta directa para la playa, la bajada empinada y no nos gustó demasiado, mejores playas por alrededor. Solo un par de sartenes muy viejas el resto de menaje suficiente, aparcamiento dentro de urbanización sin reserva, durante la semana sin problema, los fines de semana se llena y puede ser un problema aparcar dentro, fuera también hay sitio, llaves para abrir valla vehículos cuesta bastante hasta que le pillas el truco."

"Thank you Elisa for the loan of your beautiful home. It was our little spot of paradise for ten days. The pool was a big hit with my grandson, the wide front veranda looking over the sea was the best spot in the house and where we spent most of our time. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and had a great local bar on the beach. We will be returning as we didn't want to leave!"
