"The property and surroundings/atmosphere was amazing, thank goodness for the pool and having AC for sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped, easy to find everything and everything was there. The home beautifully appointed and had a wonderful Costa Rican character and made it easy to feel the Pura Vida vibe!!!!"

"Had a fantastic experience and enjoyed the tree house room which was clean, spacious, and provided a nice view of the surrounding area.. The managers Luis and Vero couldnt be nicer and more pleasant. The local dining and bar establishments were walkable and had good food and drink . Wish i could've sfayed longer "

"We loved our stay. The pool was very nice and the home was gorgeous. Overall close to the beaches. It was about a 20-30 minute drive to the main touristy town for food and groceries. Although not a deal breaker we were disappointed in the kitchen amenities. Several cooking utensils were broken/ damaged and the knives were beyond dull. Dishwasher struggled to complete cycles despite multiple attempts. Additionally some light switches did not seem to work or potentially aren’t connected to anything? Despite a few negatives we would strongly consider staying again at this property in the future. We just hope the home owners spend a few dollars to update and replace a few items to complete the wonderful experience we had."

"Everything about the property and beach was what we were looking for. Quite not overpopulated. We walked the rocks and tidal pools for hours. Staff was friendly and attentive. Small bar and restaurant on property was great. We will be returning."

"Our stay was wonderful. Dani was so great and would honestly try to book another VRBO if Dani was the coordinator. We opted to use the shuttle service to get to and from the VRBO which I would recommend as we arrived shortly after 6pm and it was pitch dark. If we were traveling on our our own I highly suspect we could have easily gotten lost as the actual house locators are not marked that well. We rented vehicles for the week and if you have google maps or GPS on it isn't too difficult but in the dark it is very different. Super rugged and hills. ( We had to stop one night due to a large cow in the middle of the road) We went to Mirabella to the Tiki Hut for a sunset dinner as the beach has spectacular sunsets. (The house won't give you as good of a one) There is also a beach about 8-10 minutes from the house that we went to for a sunset that we just drove to and pulled off of the road and went down to the beach. We had howler monkeys hanging in the trees a couple of days and they did not disappoint!! We did have a couple of scorpions in the house which I won't deny freaked us out but they aren't massive and we killed them. They apparently are over populated. Our chef (Adrian) explained they are like a bees and will sting but unless you are allergic to bees you will be fine. Use lime or lemon to take the sting away. We had steak & lobster chef dinner - AMAZING! A couple small things -outside floor near shower can be super slippery so be careful! Great Trip!!!"

"The villa is just as pictured. And I could literally live in the salt water pool. This home is away from sights, so I definitely suggest arranging a driver, as the roads are difficult to navigate. But this also gives you tranquility. The concierge Dani is absolutely wonderful. She planned the trip ahead of time with us and even helped us with a couple difficulties that arose. We also recommend booking a meal with their kind Chef Adrian."
