The roads getting to the property — and the Nosara area — were incredibly bumpy and rough. Once we arrived it was totally worth it. We were greeted when we pulled up and helped with our luggage. Check in was easy. The staff extremely helpful and nice. We were given a tour of the property while our luggage was taken to our room. Me and my girlfriend came here for four nights before heading to Volcan Arenal. We stayed in the villa, which was less than 100 meters from the beautiful, private black sand beach. The Sunset Shack is the perfect place to stay for a surf trip in Nosara! It is quiet and chill compared to other places in the area, and it's a short walk down to the beach. Our experience at Mundo Milo was everything we where looking for in Costa Rica. We wanted a more intimate surrounding which is what you will find here. From the monkeys jumping tree to tree to exotic birds flying around everywhere you turn. If your looking for more of a "party" atmosphere this location wouldn't be for you. It's a very nature based location with plenty of quiet time! My friend is a vegan and had meals prepared for her in just that manner at the restaurant on the lodge grounds....
