"La comunicación con José fue muy buena desde el principio. Él fue muy antento a nuestra llegada y siempre contestando nuestras inquietudes. La habitación muy limpia y el baño también. La locación es perfecta para descansar y sentir la tranquilidad de la isla. El único punto, en la página de FeWo dice que la propiedad cuenta con Shampoo y jabón, pero no es así. Tampoco hay un Jacuzzi, como está escrito en FeWo. Pd: Para llegar a la propiedad, hay que subir calles muy empinadas."

"Spent a week at La Chirita for a bird-watching holiday as a couple in our early 60's. The cottage is on the rustic side, but contains everything that you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday. The jewel in the crown is the location amongst the trees, in the foothills of the pinebelt, with a large, private, wild 'garden' full of native plants/flowers, and birds - canaries dominate, but there are also flyby's of both local pigeons, amongst other endemics. "Very happy with our stay in this property. Although basic it was adequately furnished for our needs. Aldea blanco is perfectly placed for beach or exploring the island. Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. Before leaving we didn’t hesitate to book for next winter"

"A great place to stay with a great host. The apartment is just a few miles from the coast and so it was a few degrees cooler and therefore much more pleasant than down on the main resorts. It also has amazing views of the coast. The apartment was clean, spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed using the gardens around the apartment and the good sized swimming pool. "Loin et près de toutes commodités, ce logement est très spacieux et il y fait bon vivre entre couple où bien amis. Piscine froide en novembre mais la mer n’est pas loin. A recommander."

"The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

"the villa was part of a small complex on a Banana plantation and had been converted to a high standard with generous rooms, double beds, good showers, kitchen etc. The outdoors area was well set out with plenty of private room and a small plunge pool for when the temperature soars. The complex is a drive away from anywhere and there is no wandering to the nearest shops or beach - you will need to get in your car for everythng. The other thing to note is that this is a working banana plantation...

"Sehr schöne, aussichtsreiche und ruhige Lage, für uns war es ein perfektes Familienhaus. Der kleine, private Sandstrand beim Abama Hotel erreicht man zu Fuss innert 25 Minuten, der Flughafen ist 30 Minuten entfernt und die Attraktionen bei Adeje (Siam Park und Ähnliches) sind innert 20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar."
