"Breakfast was appalling, the food was overcooked and there were no condiments. The room coffee maker was not usable and the packets for the coffee were opened and missing stuff. Ran out of hot water taking a shower. The drawers of the dresser were stuck closed, but if you opened them they wouldn't stay closed without jamming them. There was garbage from the last person still in the trash. The fridge smelled like rotten food and was hard to open. The place was run down and just gross. Would not recommend with so many other good hotels in the same price range"

"Wonderful historic building with modern updates where it matters. Friendly staff. Easy check in/check out. Street level access as well as a lower level walk out to the River Walk. We had a King Suite and it was spacious, comfy and quiet (except when the Spurs won and all the cars were honking - LOL). Good food and drinks. I highly recommend and would stay here again. "

"Please please I beg you if you are reading this review, Never stay here. The worst motel in the world. Next to the highway and train tracks and loud noise all day and night. You won’t be able to sleep at all. Nothing in this hotel is good. Every dollar you spend here is a waste. There are bed bugs, rats in the room, and the toilet does not work.please stay away, Even if you get a good deal it is not worth it. Every dollar you spend elsewhere might be worth more. Sick dirty dangerous place."
