"Realizing this B&B is in a quite old building, the modern elevator was a surprise. Opening the cabinet in our room and finding a kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave and sink (bring your own dishes & cookware). Lovely breakfast with made to order scrambled eggs, bacon and many tasty baked goods. Speck & cheese upon request and wonderful cappuccino! The view out our window was the castle. Very walkable area and many delightful places to eat. "

"Casa da Carmen is a lovely property, everything is brand new and functions well. The breakfast was beautiful and the service very attentive. The hot tub and the views are incredible. Although, we weren’t aware there would be a charge (10€ per person) to use the hot tub. "No geral foi uma excelente noite. O quarta era bem localizado, limpo e confortável. Minha alergia atacou, mas o quarto estava bem limpo. Fiquei um pouco insegura de receber as instruções de acesso ao spto somente na tarde do dia anterior pois tinha acesso restrito a internet. "Beautiful and historic hotel with lots of art. The rooms are large and comfortable. However, this is not the place to stay if you have a problem with stairs. Our room was on the 2nd floor. There is an elevator but it did not go to our level. Breakfast is included and it is wonderful! Lots of fresh fruit and baked goods, cured meats and cheeses. You can even make a mimosa!"
