"Appreciated the lei and beaded necklace greeting. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. So helpful to have an in-room washer & dryer. Numerous pools all wonderful and nicely styled & landscaped. Nice to have Holoholo Grill on-site for easy meals. Location near beaches and other sites was also nice. Only disappointment was that the ocean view room we paid extra for was obstructed by utility poles and lines. Was hard for me to get past that. No photos on their site show these so it was a complete surprise. Finding a parking spot at night near our building was not always easy either. Other than that, Koloa is a wonderful resort."

"Great place to stay! Loved the views of the ocean and the stream down below. Watching the large turtles come and go was a favorite pastime! The foliage partially blocks the expansion view of the ocean. It could be trimmed back a little while still maintaining privacy. We loved how quiet it was. You can hear the waves. Good location. Easy access to multiple beaches. The apartment was very clean and spacious. King bed has best view ever. "

"Great location to Shipwreck beach. I had a meeting at the Hyatt and it was a short easy 5 min walk there on a paved path. Laundry was great to have available. Beds were clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities of home that you’d want. Clean. Nice big living room. Master sweet was a separate wing from the other 2 bedrooms. We didn’t find directions to the pool and had to call to get them but that was easy and they gave good directions. Pools about 10 min walk away. Garage had a cooler, 6 beach chairs, 3 boogie boards and 2 umbrellas you just stick in the sand. Grill and great comfy covered patio. Don’t miss seeing the sea turtles come to Poipu beach for their nightly sleep!!!"

"Great property overall, though there are some things that are starting to show some wear. The grill is a low-end model and is missing half its heat deflectors, so it does not grill evenly at all unfortunately. And, numerous windows either do not fully shut or do not properly open. Finally, most similar properties I've stayed at often will stock or maintain a small pantry of a couple shelves of very basic condiments and spices that are either provided or carried forward from other guests (provided sanitary and unexpired of course). Not the case with this property, so even little things that would never be used up in a week will need to be purchased at the store. Overall, would stay again as it's a great location and a good layout for two families with young kids. Though, the grill needs to be repaired or simply upgraded. "

"Great house for a large group. Kitchen and gathering area upstairs including dining area and outdoor deck space is stellar! Modest ocean view from upstairs. 4 bed queen room upstairs is bunk beds. One of the bedrooms downstairs is without easy bathroom access. Beautiful back yard area that is perfect for kiddos, including a one year old. Equipment provided is much appreciated. Snorkel gear, bikes, scooter and more! We spent most of our beach time at Poipu as it is close, kid friendly and beautiful. Good snorkeling access, turtles resting, etc. We found it easier to drive to our desired locations. House is clean, well appointed. Communication with host was smooth and quick. Hot tub and pool ( tiki bar!) used dailyHighly recommend. Check with host that room layout is what you’re expecting and meets your needs. "
