Ocean View & AC! 3 Min Walk To Poipu Beach!

"The property was beautiful and exactly as descibed online, incluiding the photos. The amenities provided were outstanding, from welcome gifts, to kitchen and laundry equipment, to toiletries, to towels, to beach equipment. We particularly appreciated the plastic cooler which we used for daily excursions. The location provided easy access to all attactions on the south shore of Kauai. Management was immediately responsive to texted questions and small problems, without the need to contact in person. Communication was excellent at every step of the process. We did not need the AC because of the ceiling fans and the additional small portable fans, which were much appreciated. TV and internet service (Spectrum) were excellent, with the exception of brief widespread Spectrum outages. The pool and hot tub were outstanding. The keypad dook lock was excellent. Parking was very convenient, free, and secure. Furnishings had a topical feel and were very nice."

"The Grand Hyatt Kauai is an excellent pick for this island. It is a beautiful hotel right by the beach and has several great pools, a lazy river, a waterslide and a saltwater lagoon. The hotel staff was very friendly. The spa was beautiful as well. The hotel may get crowded when the schools are on holidays because the hotel is kid-friendly but the week we were there, it was not too crowded nor too isolated. Just right. My favorite part of the hotel was the Seaview Terrace which is a café/restaurant with a beautiful ocean view and both indoor and outdoor seating. They had live music and a singer almost every night during dinner time. It was very enjoyable and a great experience."

"This unit was spacious, very clean, and had the most beautiful flowering tree hanging over the front lanai. It was a short walk to Poipu beach - which was a great place to snorkel and watch the green sea turtles and monk seals come in to rest in the evening. The grounds surrounding the condo were immaculate, manicured, and fit the vision of a tropical oasis. The communication with the property management was great, and the unit had most everything we needed. A suggestion for the unit would be to include another fan and an extension cord to reach the limited outlets. It was VERY hot and very humid during some of the days of our stay. It would have helped to have one more fan to get the air circulating throughout the large unit. We would definitely stay here again (just without a hurricane/tropical storm the next time)."

"The location was great and the walk to the beach was short and beautiful. The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella, and body boards. We especially enjoyed being able to walk out to the lawn area, the pool, and the beach directly from our sliding glass door. Just one note, there is no central air, but that seems common in the area. There was, however, an air conditioner in the main bedroom which was grately appreciated."

"I would just second all of the positive comments by the prior guests in their VRBO reviews of this well-maintained property in a beautiful, convenient location. But I'll emphasize two things that stood out to me. First, the easy and responsive communication with our host, Ian. He was quick to respond to messaging, answering with a phone call - so refreshing these days! And quick to address two small issues. Second, to relate what a pleasure it was in the morning to sip coffee and enjoy our bowl of cereal from the screened-in front porch - enjoying the feel of the sea breeze, the sound of the ocean surf a short distance away and the view of the boogie boarders riding the waves. Can't imagine a much better experience on this magical island."

"Great for our family of 14. We rented both Turtle & Dolphin sides. We did not use the bunk bed rooms. We liked the AC, but wished there had been ways to open the windows when not using the AC. No screens on the windows. Washers & dryers were fine. Laundry rooms should have drying racks. Upstairs bedrooms had no closets, but plenty of drawers. We found hangers in laundry room, but no place to hang anything. No hooks on back of doors in upstairs bedrooms or bathrooms. We went back & forth between units quite a bit to eat meals. Loved that 4 bedrooms on each side had king size beds."
