"We didn’t have extra sheets/bedding for the pull out sofa and had to ask the front staff. Otherwise, clean condo, kitchen is nice and easy access to the beach. "

"Only 1 restaurant on property and it is half outside including only a few chairs at the bar where you get wet if it rains. Lots of roosters and cats and cockroches outside."

"The location of the condo was great and we loved being able to walk to the beach every day. You can hear some street traffic but it didn’t bother us. The condo is clean, well stocked and was very accurate to the listing. I really appreciated how the final house keeping cost was already included in the unit price. We would definitely stay again!"

"Our stay was overall pleasant, but fell slightly short of expectations. We had booked an “ocean view” room anticipating a direct view of the ocean, however our room overlooked the pool and hot tub area instead. It was only upon arrival that we learned that “front ocean view” rooms are the ones that truly guarantee an ocean-facing perspective, which felt somewhat misleading at the time of booking. The bed was comfortable enough, though not particularly memorable, and while we didn’t have the opportunity to try the on-site dining, the beach itself was nice, though fairly standard. All in all, a decent stay, but I would recommend paying close attention to room categories to avoid any disappointment."

"We had a wonderful stay traveling as a family of five (including three adult children). The condo was exceptionally clean, spacious, and perfectly located in Poipu area. The grounds at Kiahuna Plantation Resort are absolutely breathtaking, with easy, direct access to the beach—truly hard to beat. The condo itself was very well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the lanai and balcony areas—they were perfect for morning coffee, relaxing in the sun, and unwinding in the evenings. The extra amenities like boogie boards and beach chairs were such a thoughtful touch and made our beach days even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to our host for the outstanding communication throughout the entire process. They were incredibly responsive, VERY helpful with check-in (went above and beyond), and provided fantastic recommendations and local insights. It’s clear they genuinely cares about their guests and go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Truly best-in-class hospitality—we would absolutely stay here again!"

"We were disappointed with the condition of the condo and the floor plan of the unit. The condo is old and is in need of a major renovation!Additionally, the office put us in a different condo than the host told us we would be in. The host said we would receive check-in details 3 days before our arrival, but we never heard from him until I reached out the day before our trip. Kiahuna Plantation Resort needs better signage. We had a hard time locating our condo, the office and the beach towel hut. We are not terribly picky people, but when we pay more than 300 per night, we do expect the place will be well maintained and updated. We did like the opportunity to use the athletic club across the street. Kauai is a beautiful vacation destination! We will return to the island, but not this condo. "
