"The best thing about the stay is the housekeeping department. Our room was very clean, and I am very picky! The housekeeping staff is the best part of this property, and they deserve raises. The negatives are the elevators didn’t work. The indicator light was non functional so riders don’t know what level they’re on, or even if they went up or down! Front desk unorganized. I got my key card with codes on the back but no one told me what it was for. I later found out it’s a code for the gate to the beach. Found this out after getting locked out and walking around the whole property! They could have explained this at check-in! The hotel charges a $45 DAILY “RESORT FEE”! An email was sent last minute to disclose the up charge. Too late to do anything as flights are booked. MOST ANNOYINGLY, the hotel forces valet on patrons at $45/ day…plus tip valet every time we want to use our car. It wouldn’t be so bad if the hotel did valet service correctly. But our cars were held hostage while we waited in lines in the heat. I could see my car a few feet away. By the time we’re in the car, hair frizzed and feeling irritated! I wouldn’t stay there again."
