When we first pulled up, our hearts sank. We didn't realize we had booked a room at a motel. We didn't think we'd be able to get a room somewhere else at the last second so we decided to stay despite our reservations. I am so glad we did! COVID-19 times, so happy that they were open. Older property but clean and well maintained. Generous Continental breakfast. I usually don't like to stay in a motor court property that has a door directly on the lot, but during this crisis, I am happy to trade off physical secuity of a common entance with the Social Distance of my own door!! Very friendly staff.

Most comfortable mattress! Room was very clean, decor could have been a little happier. Staff was fabulous, grounds were impeccable, overall a very reasonable and charming place to stay. Santa's village just down the street. Beautiful view of the Presidentials. National forest hiking trails at your doorstep!

Property, while having stunning mountain views just outside your door, had a nostalgic charm to it. I don't know how they do it, but the tub, sink etc seem like they were plucked right out the 60s, but are still in excellent condition. Same for the mid-century modern desk and nightstand. Guess that's a testament to the very personable and hard working staff taking great care of the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What an awesome experience. The cottage was just perfect for my wife and I. The location was centrally located to all the places we visited, explored, dined, enjoyed nature at its finest. Would definitely go there again if the opportunity arose.

The staff and accommodations were excellent, but there is no “face covering-required” sign at the lobby door and not only did four maskless people walk in but another sneezed all over the breakfast area.

The place is just a really nice, classic motor lodge. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. They were also really helpful - switching dates when I accidentally booked the wrong date. And they have EV charging onsite! Great place and great price.
