"While the hotel was absolutely lovely and the staff very friendly, we were very disappointed. We booked the hotel as we wanted to play golf and given it was a golf hotel, we thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately on arrival we were informed that the golf course would be closed for our entire five night stay. I think we should have been informed in advance and we could have booked an alternative hotel near the area with other golf courses."

"Nice campsite for a few nights. Good restaurant, staff and facilities. However, we booked a 4 person Comfort Cottage for a week but we given a 6 person Modern Cottage without explanation. The extra room was a bonus but I’m glad there were only 4 of us as 6 would have felt very cramped. The Modern Chalet style wasn’t what we booked nor particularly wanted however we we glad to have a covered balcony as it rained for half our stay. Spacious house in a quiet area with all comforts, private pool 3bed, 3bath, 3wc classified 3*.

"The accommodation is in the absolute best possible location. It’s close to Soustons (which we love) and well connected to the motorway. It’s so peaceful and quiet; the absolute best bit is sitting outside by the pool and listening to the wildlife. I used the Merlin app on my phone and got so many birds! There are owls at night and deer in the fields. There are two super oak trees by the entrance so it makes the location so immersed in nature thus relaxing.The property has been renovated to an extremely high standard and is very spacious. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and a thoughtful local cake. The owners are next door but are totally unobtrusive and there is good privacy. The pool is welcoming to lounge in and read a book on a hot sunny day and faces the morning / midday sun. There is a ping pong table which we enjoyed playing on. We know the area very well already but top visits are the Soustons market on a Monday and dinner by the lake at L’auberge de la pointe where we had a superb meal. We took our surfboards so you’re spoilt for choice surfing along the coastline. For day trips we like Villa Arnaga at Cambo-Les-Bains, Hossegor, Biarritz, Mont de Marsan and San Sebastián. The L’eclerc in Soustons is a good big supermarket about 8 mins away. The only minor point if picky is that the en-suite doesn’t have an extract fan or external window so the bathroom and subsequent bedroom can get a bit smelly/stale.We had a superb time and will definitely come back."

"Wir haben uns in den 3 Wochen im Ferienhaus von Denis und Delphine Labaste sehr wohl gefühlt; beide sind außerordentlich freundliche, hilfsbereite, dabei auch dezent-zurückhaltende Gastgeber. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut (bitte Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen - wußte ich nicht!), die Küche bietet alles, was man braucht; es gibt gute Matratzen! Wir haben das wunderschöne Ambiente in dem weitläufigen Park, die Ruhe, die Bäume, das Vogelgezwitscher sehr genossen und uns auch mit der Katze der Eigentümer angefreundet. In der für mich grenzwertig erträglichen Hitze im letzten Monat (nicht normal für diese Jahreszeit) war der Pool meine Rettung! Die Möglichkeiten, seinen Urlaub zu gestalten, sind dank des gut ausgebauten Radwegenetzes, der Bademöglichkeiten in Meer und Seen und einiger interessanter Städte (die allerdings etwas entfernt sind), vielfältig. Wir fanden es aber auch sehr erholsam, einfach "nur" die Ruhe dort zu genießen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen..."
